The functions you want as well as the required options are essentially set automatically. The OCD-5 thermostat also makes it possible to view the power consumption of your underfloor heating. The underfloor heating thermostat is equipped with a frameset that fits standard Busch‑Jaeger switchgear. The OCD-5 thermostat ensures it is possible to switch your heating system on at predetermined times on any day of the week.

Setting individual temperatures

By using the OCD-5 thermostat you have the option to set separate temperatures for each day of the week. This is possible for six different periods. The thermostat is supplied by default with a preset heating program that is suitable for most homes. This ensures the thermostat will work immediately. Of course, it can be further adjusted to your preference.

The electric underfloor heating thermostat has an adaptive feature that can automatically modify the heating times. In practice this ensures the desired temperature is reached at the start of a given setting. After a few days the adaptive feature will have learned how much earlier the heating needs to be switched on. The touchscreen only needs to be gently tapped with a finger to operate. The extensive manual supplied as standard with the OCD-5 thermostat gives you a complete overview of all functions and features the thermostat offers.

Read settings with smartphone or tablet

Bringing the OCD-5 thermostat into your home ensures you always have the ability to read out all settings and changes using your smartphone or tablet. This is made possible by a special QR code. With your favourite mobile device it is also possible without any problem to read out the energy consumption as well as the costs incurred by the heating. Simply scan the QR code with your smartphone and you will immediately have all the information you want displayed on your device.

When you choose to set up your thermostat, it is often not easy to determine which functions are actually configured. The OCD5 thermostat definitely changes that! Using this thermostat enables you to easily set a QR code after which all data stored by the thermostat can be displayed. This concerns not only the thermostat's basic data, but also what you have configured yourself as well as the exact energy consumption.
