To heat large areas we recommend using the Ecosun high-temperature S+ radiation panel. This panel is often used to heat (commercial) buildings and is usually installed at a height of 4–6 m. The panels have 1–3 heating lamellae, made of aluminium and include a very high-quality powder coating.

The advantages of infrared heating

Infrared heating means that the space is warmed by infrared radiation. In this way infrared panels heat your space directly instead of heating the air through circulation, as is the case with traditional radiators or gas heaters.

This often creates a pleasant feeling of warmth and comfort even at a lower air temperature. In addition, the panel does not cause the well-known disadvantages of other types of heating, namely: dust formation, unwanted noises or frequent maintenance.

Power

Infrared heating can be used as primary or supplementary heating. Primary heating refers to heating an entire space. Supplementary heating is for localised heating. To use infrared heating as primary heating, allow approximately 60 to 80 watts per m2. For supplementary heating, use 50 watts per m2.
